Hip Hop

This picture caught my eye a while back as i was on the net. Man... Jus look at it.. all the rappers in this picture have paved they way for more than half of the rappers that i listen to today. They also did their thing in a time where hip hop was jus takin off and had to put up with the critics. Not only that but when hip hop 1st took off it was looked upon as gangsta rap or thuggish (but what they really wanted to say was niggerish) muisc. so i cant do anything but tilt my fitted cap to the faces sketched/painted on this canvas.

this a throwback track from my guy French Montana. Before him and Max B linked up... He spazzed out one really. Not only are the lyrics wavy, the instrumental is crazy.. when i listen to music i dont jus hear to the lyrics and beat. i actually LISTEN to music. they used like 10 different instruments. and the woman singing in the background jus added that spark to this track. especially on the hook. A Good Look for NY

Thought this was a nice photo to put up of A. Keys and Hova. Of course their VMA performance was highly talked about because of Lil Mama bringin her big head up on the stage. Not once have i seen or heard anyone talk about the track that was performed. Its def one that should be played in the a.m before u got to work. It puts u in the mood to go out and be outstanding at whatever you have to do for that day. Not only for the day but in life in general. His lyrics remind me of where i can from, to where i am now. Inspires me to keep my head up and be grateful for what i have and continue to strive for more... and yea i said more cuz to me the sky is the limit. not only is this track bangin but its just feels like NY.

For everyone has been asleep for the past 3 yrs, this rite here is Max B, aka the Wave man legally known as Charley Wingate. He use to be signed to Dipset til him and Jenny Jones (Jim Jones) fell out over his contract and publishing. Since he has distanced himself from the Set's shadow he has flooded the streets with mixape after mixtape and has carved his name in the mixtape industry, underground and streets as one of NY elite mixtape artist. But before he held shows for his fans.. Sippin on Grand Cru and blownin sour screamin out OWW and WAVVY. he was caught up i a robbery/murder in 2006. WHile out on bond he stacked money and grew wiser and older as a man and artist. Sadly.. the judge of Bergen county felt otherwise and sentenced my guy to 75yrs. Thats basically life... bUt his music will def be spun and played throughout the streets and he will always be remembered for his outgoing attitude, consistency in the studio, catchy hooks and love for the camera.
